Our staff of 40 scientists and engineers have expertise in the areas of human health and ecological risk assessment, natural resource damage assessment, regulatory compliance and permitting support, contaminated sediment assessment and remediation, stormwater permitting and compliance support, habitat assessment and restoration design, site characterization and source control, brownfields assessment and remediation, chemical fate and transport, biological assessment, risk modeling, chemical fingerprinting, and litigation support.
Windward also has staff who are skilled in developing and conducting media sampling programs, field surveys, and monitoring programs in both aquatic and upland environments. Using EQuIS software, our data managers can track, check, and confirm the accuracy of data and customize environmental data management systems to meet the needs of individual clients or projects. GIS analysts then translate those data into high-end maps, creating valuable tools for decision-making, predictive modeling, or CAD integration.
