Felix Kristanovich, PhD, PE, CFM, has joined Windward Environmental LLC as a Principal Engineer. Felix has more than 30 years of experience conducting watershed and streamflow system evaluations; hydraulic and water quality modeling in rivers, lakes, and estuaries, including pollutant and fate transport analysis from industrial discharges; and tracking oil spills. He is registered as professional civil engineer in five states in addition to being a Certified Floodplain Manager and Qualified Stormwater Developer. Felix has led streamflow restoration projects in the Pacific Northwest and California and numerous hydrologic evaluations of watersheds and streamflow systems in the United States and overseas. He has performed flood insurance studies and prepared dam design documents; assessed dredging and hydraulic modeling for ports; and designed shoreline protection against wind waves, ship waves, and river currents on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers and along shorelines at various Puget Sound harbors.
